Deploy Windows 8.1 from Acronis Backup 11.5 image to other machines
I am trying to deploy Windows 8.1 to about 20 HP computers with the help of Acronis Backup 11.5.
These computers came with a Windows 8.1 Pro OEM license.
I installed one of the computers with the Windows 8.1 Pro that came with it. Once done I rebooted the computer with a Acronis 11.5 boot CD en created an image of the computer. The image was placed on the network.
I took the second computer and booted it with the Acronis CD. I restored the image to the disk.
I deleted all volumes of the disk first.
When done, I rebooted.
Windows 8.1 won't boot. The error is "A required device isn't connected or can't be accessed"
Error code: 0x0000225.
Can someone tell me why the other machines won't boot?
When I recover the image to the original computer there is no problem.

Hello H. Pat,
thank you for your postings and sorry for the delayed answer.
Are you sure, that your new machine has the same hardware and works in the same mode (IDE/AHCI)?
If so, please contact our support team for investigation.
Most likely we will need the following information:
1) system reports from both machines created from bootable media
2) exported registry trees from the source machine and target machine after restore.
Thank you.

Check in the Bios if disk is on UEFI or AHCI mode, UEFI is preferred
