Email notifications are incorrect

   I have posted this several times throughout version 11 but can't locate the threads. Latest build of 11.5 server. Works great forever then all of a sudden the email says the job failed yet the logs and the TIB both reflect that the job worked fine.

   Different customers, different servers but same senario. Will work fine for months then all of a sudden the emails say it failed yet the logs say it worked. This one particular custimer says it happens only with a specfic media (external USB hard drive). Any ideas?

We've had reports like this, but never reproduced the issue in our labs. The cases that have been investigated by our support teams always found something that actually failed. Usually, it is something like a monthly scheduled backup task that isn't seen in the interface (this can happen if there was an incorrect manual uninstall, for example) but is still running on schedule in the background. Or a forgoten command line script that is launched on some event. 

Have you tried including the error log with the email notification. Are there any details in that? Failing that, does this happen in a patter or in a random manner?
