EUFI Support on PXE Server

Thread needs solution

When will the PXE Server also support EUFI Boot?

I have the latest build of B&R 11.5 installed and a machine can not boot from the PXE server because it uses EUFI (windows 8).

Booting from CD goes fine and able to backup system but I don't want to use the CD I preffer PXE Server.

Hello Johan Valstar,

Thank you for posting this question in our forum. I am happy to assist you.

With the latest version of Acronis Backup & Recovery 11.5 you can create a new bootable media, that you can upload to the PXE server. It is important that you create a new bootable media for your PXE Server after updating or installing the latest build. See Acronis Backup & Recovery 11.5: Creating a Recovery Task.

If you need additional assistance, please create a system report of the affected machine and contact support. You will find all available support options in our Customer handbook.

If there is anything else we can do for you, please let me know.

Thank you.

Is the a date now that the Acronis PXE server supports EUFI boot via IPv4 Stack? At this moment it only works with legacy settings .

Acronis does not care about his clients problem.

Acronis Backup Advanced 11.5 for me, does not have PXE UEFI support from two years windows 8 out ago
No "drive manager" on Windows 8 from Windows 8 Launch 2 years ago...

On archive restoration, Acronis always want to restore to disk1 that is my system C:\ ... never have to click so quick or it will destroy all C:\

Then, On Windows 8.1 UEFI on GPT disk, restore a MBR archive to a clean disk USB or ESATA always convert new disk to GPT even the archive only contains MBR system...

Acronis last version that i have used without problems is version 10. Since, Acronis become "sh.."... i do not have other words... sorry.
