I've looked through the forums but can't see anything related....

Is there a way to backup the user created Shortcuts on the navigation pane within the management console?

So either they can be moved to another console or re-added after a re-install?

They are stores in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Acronis\BackupAndRecoveryConsole\Settings\ShortcutConnections .
They probable can be re-added , but not moved to other user. The reason is that credentials for shortcuts and recent connections are encrypted using window API and can't be decrypted on other machine or other user, and if credentials are missing, shortcuts are not loaded.
Credentials are stored in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Acronis\CredStorage on Windows 2008/Vista and above.
