Hello Fedor,
Thanks for your concern.
we want to add destination of backup which is on network we make it password protected and now go to add the backup destination in network . In network it shows "loading" but suddenly it is not found and stop the loading process . No there was no error.

If you type the address of the network share and click the green arrow button, does it work?

Hello Fedor,
Today I tested one more scenario which is mentioned below :
I make a folder on another W2K8 R2 mark it as password protected and followed the same process as I mentioned above. It show same behavior and this folder is not access by the W2K8 R2 on which acronis is installed . I think it is expected behavior.
But in my actual test, it is Accessible by the W2K8 R2 on which acronis is installed but not by acronis.

Hello rashi jain,
thank you for posting.
Could you please confirm that you are not using a DFS share? These are not supported by ABR11.5 Agent.
Please try the following:
- In the destination for backup, specify the UNC path to the remote computer (use the IP address).
- Press Enter. You should be prompted for the credentials.
- Specify the credentials for the share using the domain user name or the local user name for the remote machine.
If these suggestions do not work, please provide the following information:
- NTFS and Sharing permissions for the folder.
- Result of access to the folder from Windows Explorer on the same machine with same credentials (be logging in with another user that does not have permissions to access the share).
- How the user is specified in the pop up window during backup destination configuration.
Let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you,

Hello ,
Thanks for your support.
1) we are sharing the filesystem by CIFS Type.
2) According to your suggestion , when we are added backup destination it never ask for credentials.
3) Sharing Permission is set to full control .
4) By windows explorer it can be access with "hydraexport"
5) During the Backup Destination Configuration , it never ask for credentials.(no window pop up)

Hello rashi jain,
Thank you for additional information.
Please additionally check the following information:
- Start network traffic capture on the machine with the ABR agent, use Wireshark tool (kb.acronis.com/content/1763).
- Filter for the IP address of the machine with the share (ip.addr == 192.168.1.1).
- Search for strings containing the "@" symbol. Check under which account the connection is being established to the share.
There is a known issue in the product, that in rare cases the share is accessed with "@" username instead of "username@domain". This results in the behavior you have described. This issue will be fixed in next product version. If the other username appears in the connection attempts, please provide it here.
As a workaround for this behavior, please use a managed vault on this share (www.acronis.com/support/documentation/ABR11.5/index.html#1465.html).
Looking forward to your reply,
