Slow Backup

Full Backup takes approximately 5-hours to complete whether it is done from Windows or the Bootable Media with Linux. (Using Dell Server T610, Win Server 2008, R2 64 Bit).
Older versions of Acronis would take maybe 1-hour for full backup.
The Server is not connected to the Internet or any network at this time.
Are there any Services that should be disabled when internet access is not available. Or is there anyother setup required to speed up the backup, assuming 5-hours is not normal?

Hello,

did you backup to a Depot with Dedup? Myybe here is not enouth RAM ore a Slow Disk?
Ore the NIC of the Server is not correkt discovered with the new Boot CD have you looked at the Speed 100Mbit ore GB?

Sorry, I did not mention what media I was backing up to.
I am using a USB external hard drive with the DMA enabled.
I have tried two different USB external hard drives.
Approximately 5-hours whether I use Acronis from Windows or from the bootable media (Linux).
