We had purchased Acronis 10 for our 32 bit windows 2003server and since have migrated file data to windows 2008 R2 64 bit and need to upgrade to 11.5. Can we buy the upgrade package and then just download the 11.5 version to install directly to 2008 R2. Or, do we need to install ver. 10 first for the upgrade path. Is the Acronis install specific to the bit platform? 32 bit upgrade to 64 bit?

The installer binaries are the same for 32 and 64 bit platforms. Installation of 11.5 doesn't require version 10 to be installed prior. So you only need to download 11.5 and install in on the new machine. If you were renewing maintenance every year and have an active maintenance now, , you can upgrade to 11.5 free of charge.
