Failed to implementation Acronis Backup 11.5 with domain account
Hi,
I am doing the implementation Acronis solution on my Vmware Workstation 11.
The virtual machines are included DC; ACRONIS MANAGEMENT; ACRONIS CLIENT
On the machine, Acronis Management was implemented running on Windows 2008 R2 standard SP1 x64.
I was created an account EBR01 from Domain Controller with fully privilege of local account as well as domain users, this account was used to install Acronis Management Server.
During installation, I always met the issue with progress and it is automatic rollback.
I have tried to collect the logfile from "Acronismanagementserver.msi" and would like to attach here to get support from you.
Thanks
Hoang

This is an option in the installer, when Management Server is chosen to be installed, one of the step of installation wizard is to choose or install the operational SQL server. By default, wizard offer to Install SQL Sever 2008 Express and create a new SQL instance - ACRONIS. Use this option. You don't need to make something manually.

Hi Andrey Panin,
I have been installed "Microsoft SQL 2012 Express" manually. After installation successful I have restarted the computer and then be continue with Acronis Product.
All steps are working on DOMAIN ACCOUNT (surely that this account was added to be Administrator local).
I have tried with LOCAL ADMINISTRATOR. The installation working fine.
What happen here please? It seems be related into privilege between account.
Regards,
Hoang

Make sure that your Domain Account have enough privileges for SQL.
For example, see here: https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms191543.aspx
