Hi, I need help with LAN-less backup.

Does anyone have a working configuration for backing up virtual machines from VMware vSphere 5.1 Enterprise LAN-free?

Today we have installed FC-Hostdapters in our Acronis Backup-Server with installed ESXi-Agent for Windows.

Now, if we try to backup virtual machines, it does not run faster than over 1GBit-Ethernet. It runs sloooooower over the 8GBit-SAN. For a 3GB-Disk from a virtual Appliance it will need over an hour! Until now, no Backup has made without errors.

Is there anything which have to be activated or configured in Acronis Backup & Recovery 11.5 or in the Windows-OS for LAN-less-Backups?

The problem is solved. It was the deduplication. After deactivating it completely, backup of all machines works at night.

Hi. Just to confirm on this. Disabling deduplication fixed this issue for you? I can't find any connection.
