Restore separate file from archive

It's possible to recover files to a network share with Appliance for ESX itself. Agent for Windows installed on a windows machine can restore files from this archive to local folder like from any other disk archive.

Ok, i will try that with the appliance.
Further problem that i have now is with agent for esxi running on windows machine.
The backup of an virtual machine ( win2k8r2 ) to local drive of the windows machine ( acronis installed )worked. So far so good. Now i try to mount this backup to access files from archive. Problem is now that i cant change the drive letter where to acronis tries to mount the backup too. The parameters for mounting are displayed but inaccsible. But so i cant mount it as it tries to mount it to the original D: abd here is already my local DVD drive.
Why cant i access the mounting parameters ?

Is only Agent for ESX installed on this windows machine or Agent for Windows too? Note that if you mount it on machine other than the one in the backup, SIDs of users of files in backup and on the machine will not match , and there will be problems with accessing folders that doesn't have read permissions for built-in groups like 'all users' or 'administrators'.

The problem was realy the missing agent for windows. after installing this one too i could choose the mounting drive letter :-)
