Backup Fails with "Backup failed due to a service restart" message after Windows 10 1703 (Creators Update)

I have encountered an issue on multiple computers in which Acronis Backup 12 fails backups after installing the Windows 10 1703 (Creators Update) with a message about a service restart along with a message stating that the backup job has been repaired. Uninstall and re-install does not fix this.

The problem seems to be related to the user account that was created pre-1703. When I create a new user post 1703 and install Backup 12 under the new user all backups complete as expected.

I would rather not delete and create new users for each of my machines but this has been the only remedy I can find so far.

Any one else experience this and if so can you shed any light on a less drastic fix then new user accounts?
