Exchange 2010 transaction logs not truncated

Hi,

We are using Acronis 12 to protect our email server which is Exchange 2010 on a Windows Server 2008R2 ESX 6 virtual machine, using an application aware backup job. Backups/restores work fine, however the exchange transaction logs are not truncated. The data disk is quickly running out of space. The Acronis 12 user guide states on page 96 that the transaction logs are truncated on virtual machines after a successful backup.

Am I missing something? Some option somewhere maybe?

Hi Theo,

You should contact our support team for assistance with this issue. In general the Exchange transaction logs must be truncated after each successful backup of a VM in application-aware mode (with applications protection enabled in backup plan settings). If it doesn't happen then the backup agent logs should shown where the problem might be.
