Acronis gateway failed to create cluster

Thread needs solution

Dear members,

My client have a requirement to take backup of fileserver and store all the files in to the NAS,and replicate to the Amazon S3 cloud they already brought it.

I  have configured NAS to store the data its sucessfull , I had installed the Acronis storage gate way iso to the Hyper v vm's, 

When i tried to creating the cluster ,its failed to create it.

giving the  error operation failed

 Directory /vstorage/mds exists and not empty.
 
please help us to resolve the issue ,if any one knows how to resolve this.

Hi,

This error might mean that you've already created the cluster, while it was not reflected in GUI somehow - please try refreshing the web page. If this doesn't help then this issue should be investigated by contacting our support team.

I had rebooted the  2nd node ,while rebooting the machine i had noticed the error.

Failed to start the v storage

Please chcek the attached screen shot of that.

Suggest any trouble shooting steps to resolve this issue.

Hi Sineesh,

The MDS node is the core service which is reponsible for data management inside the storage cluster. In your case it looks like this node is broken and needs to be re-deployed from scratch - this would be the fastest solution. For proper investigation of the existing node please contact our support team.
