Thanks Ian for reply. In that case, those are independent from each other, am I right ?

Hello Arif,
thank you for posting your question on Acronis forums!
Yes, these icons are used for specifying a type of backup. The Acronis Backup 12.5 interface contains different icons that are aimed to depict particular types of resources in the Backup console.
Thus, as in your example, there are a disk backup and a backup of a VMware VM. For example, here you can see other icons with the explanation of the resources they are depicting:
- Physical workstation (online)
- Physical workstation (offline)
- Physical server or virtualization host (online)
- Physical server or virtualization host (offline)
- VMware Virtual Machine (stopped)
- VMware Virtual Machine (running)
- Hyper-V Virtual machine (stopped)
- Hyper-V Virtual machine (running)
- Virtuozzo virtual machine (stopped)
- Virtuozzo virtual machine (running)
- Virtual machine with an agent inside
- Virtuozzo container
- Mobile device
- Folder
- Cluster
- Microsoft Exchange Database
- Microsoft Exchange or Microsoft Office 365 mailbox
- Microsoft SQL instance
