Hello Olivier Delhormmes,

Thank you for your message. I will definitely assist you with this.

Most like this error is caused by an issue with the product. It is caused by the resizer module of the snapshot manager driver. We are very close to releasing Update 2 for Acronis Backup and Recovery 10, where this problem is resolved.

In the meantime, I can suggest the following article to fix this issue. Please download and install the latest SnapApi update. Reboot your computer and try to run the backup again. If the backup still fails, please check your hard drive for errors:

- Go to the Command Line (Start-Run -> cmd);

- Enter the following command:

    chkdsk DISK: /r

where DISK is the partition letter you need to check. Please note, that checking the C: drive may require you to reboot the machine.

If you do not require these options, you can also disable them so that your backup run without issues. They are:

1. Multi-volume snapshot

2. Volume Shadow Copy Service

You can check the same article that I mentioned above for additional details. Please let me know if you are still having experiencing problems or require additional assistance.

Thank you

Hello!
thanks for your help!
Do I have to install your fix on the pc to back up or on the management console's pc?or both?
Thank you

Hello Olivier Delhormmes,

Thank you for getting back to me. You are very welcome!

The fix should be installed on the machine with the agent, the agent component is responsible for the backups and it is that component that needs to be updated with the SnapApi update.

Please let me know if you have any other questions or require additional assistance.

Thank you.
