2 SATA6 HDD drives Raid0 to new SSD - options?

Thread needs solution

Hello.
i have an interesting scenario:

i have 2 1TB hard drives installed on my computer.
they are raid0 but then devided into 2 partitions.
C: 700GB (200GB used).
E: 1300GB (500GB used).

Now, i just bought a 512 SSD.

my goal is:
clone the C: drive partition to the new SSD, have the computer boot up from the SSD, then delete the original HDD C partition and add the deleted space to the E drive making it a full 2TB raided HDD (1TBx2 drives).

that way i have upgraded my computer OS partition to SSD without losing any files, settings.

is there any way to do this with acronis? i was thinking cloning the C partition, but the problem is that since it is raided with the E partition i can just remove it and replace it with the SSD, there are installs that are connected to the E drive partition.

any suggestion? can i perform this with acronis?
please let me know.

Hello m m,

Thank you for your interest in using Acronis software.

For your scenario, I think the simplest way is to perform a normal backup of your drives C and E, validating it and testing, if it is ok by double clicking and browsing it.

Then you can delete the partitions on Raid system and run a restore task from drive c to your new SSD drive and restore of data partition to the new created drive E on your Raid system.

This kind of operations you can do with different Acronis products. If using Acronis Home Products, you can use True Image 2013 by Acronis. Corporate products can be for a workstation operating system, Acronis Backup & Recovery 11.5 Workstation.

Please be aware that you possible have to rebuild the MBR / BCD on your system drive in order to boot the system.

Please let me know if you have additional questions.

Thank you.
