ABR 11 - Boot image does not recognize backups made with ABR 10

Using ABR 11 wkstn bootable image 17318 on localhost to restore a partition, i'm surprised that it doesn't allow me to select backup files written with ABR 10 workstation.

I'm aware that Acronis changed the style how meta information is saved. But this should not be my problem. For a business product, I'd expect an extended compatibility over time, or not?

BTW: The disk management option shows my main disk drive as uninitialized (the target drive of the above recovery). This crippled DD module is really worthless.

BTW: To get back my lost partition, I used then ABR 10 wkstn installed software to restore it (build 13762). But then I fell into the trap of kb 2856 ("reboot required", and after, the partition is missing).

Hey Acronis, I suggest to run some or more quality and integration checks before launching a new version.

I have EXACTLY the same problem and i have hundreds of older archive images full and differentials. If i can't use them with the new version, then we are not going to upgrade. But i guess i must be missing something, so let's wait for an official answer.
