ABR11 LTO Vault Authentication Problem

Hi again all,

Firstly, thank you for a great product with unsurpassed support!

Problem:

I am trying to to create a backup plan that backup my data to my Tape Library Vault, already setup and configured in ABR11.

When I setup my backup location and point it to the Vault/LTO, I am being challenged against authentication to the Tape Device. I have tried the local Administrator account (used to access the LTO via HTTP interface) and a MS Domain Admin Account with no luck.

Why does it even challenge me for authentication as I have not setup any encryption/authentication rules on my Tape Device.

Tape Device: HP 1/8 G2 Autoloader.

I have consulted HP about this too and they cannot assist, as I am able to access the device via HTTP.

Any ideas?

I resolved the problem by configuring user access to the vault from the Vault-> Centralized->TapeLibrary user settings.
