Hello All,

Question:
If for example, I have 2 ESXi Physical Host and 2 Hyper V Physical Server.
Each of this physical host contains 3 virtual servers.

I will have one physical server managing all the backups of the virtual server.

In this scenario, how many Acronis Virtual Edition do I need?

Do I need 1? or 3? or 4?

My guess is 1. But I need confirmation.

Elenal is 100% correct, you will need 4x licenses of ABR11 Virtual Edition.

Basically ABR11 Virtual edition is licensed per HOST (as Elenal pointed out) so as you have 4x physical (Hosts) servers you will need this amount of licenses of virtual edition.

Things such as the management server that you are installing on a 5th server does NOT consume or require a license (as is the same with the storage node and console).
