I get the same error message as above. There is no Acronis Managed Machine service listed under services.msc. How do I install the service?

I have had this issue in the past. I had to reinstall the agent to get the service back. This was before build 11345. It happened on 2 servers.

Hello all,
Thank you very much for your posts. I am sorry for the delay but I will definitely assist you with this.
Robert B. Ziaja,
There are 2 reasons for this error message. The Acronis Managed Machine Service is either:
1. Present, but not starting.
2. Not installed.
Please make sure, that you are using the latest build of Acronis Backup and Recovery 10, it should be 11345.
Please check the services and tell me if the Acronis Managed Machine Service is there. If it is not there, simply launch the installation file and perform a repair installation. This will install the service. If the service is there, but it is not starting, this requires further investigation. I suggest to submit a support request with an AcronisInfo report attached.
Johann Kismann,
Thank you for your your suggestion, it is the first thing to check when such issues occur.
David Enders,
As I mentioned to Robert, please run the installer package and select - repair installation. This will install the service.
Darryl Leaning,
You are absolutely correct, this issue was present in older builds of ABR10, but build 11345 had this issue fixed.
Lutz Juwick,
We need additional information to get this resolved. What error message are you getting? I would also recommend submitting a support request with AcronisInfo attached to the case.
Please gentlemen, if you have any other questions, let me know.

Hello Lutz and Nikolai!
Dear We have completed the requested task successfully.
Dear Lutz! Thank you for letting us know that the issue got resolved, we really glad to hear it!
Nikolai! Welcome on Acronis Forum and thank you for finding time to report about the issue!
As mentioned by Lutz, reinstallation solved his problem, but I would like to ask you to pay accurate attention that since this issue can be caused by several reasons there is no universal solution for it. I'd suggest you to submit a support request with an AcronisInfo report attached, and let me know the case number, so that I could make sure it is handled in a proper way.
Should you need anything else or have any further questions - feel free to contact us at your earliest convenience, we will be happy to help you!
Thank you!

This message means that connection to Acronis Managed Machine Service (MMS) failed.
It could have failed because:
1. MMS is not really installed. (you need to reinstall Acronis)
2. MMS is hanging or crashing (it is better to contact Support in this case)
