Advanced Server Virtual Edition (ESXi) tasks fail

Thread needs solution

I've installed an Acronis licensing server and management server. I installed the virtual appliance containing the Acronis agent on both of my ESXi hosts. However, when I attempt to run a backup task (manually, I haven't tried scheduled yet), the task fails. This is on both virtual hosts. This is the error message I receive:

Failed to run the backup and recovery engine.

Unfortunately, I am unable to identify the exact reason of the issue without additional information. Could you please provide us with the log file of the failed operation in .xml format?

- Connect Management Console to the Agent; Log;
- Choose the log entry that contains errors;
- Click on the diskette icon Save all to file;
- Specify the location you want to save the file to;
- Attach the log file to your next post.
