Archive Location Problem

Thread needs solution

Windows SBS 2008 Standard R2 (Brand new install)
Dell PowerEdge 1900
12GB RAM
Drives attempting to back up: 2 RAID1 Volumes (C:,D:)
Drives attempting to back up to: 2TB Internal Western Digital Green SATA, 500GB Western Digital 2.5" External USB Drive

When I get to the point of picking an archive location for my backup the message below pops up. I have uninstalled and reinstalled; the user is a Domain Admin; I have entered a username and password in the advanced settings; it does not matter if I choose an external usb drive or an internal drive (none of the drives I have chosen are the drives being backed up). The result is the same.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Kevin,

Thank you for posting. I will do my best to help you.

Please check the following workaround from our KB article in case you are using Clean up archive options. If this is not the case or you still have this problem please contact our Support team directly with this report so that we can investigate this problem.

Let me know if you have additional questions please.

Thank you.

I figured it out. Like in previous versions, I was adding the archive name when I was picking the path of the archive, ie: "E:\DoNotDelete\original.tib".

When I removed the "original.tib" it worked properly.

Thanks,

Kevin G
