Back up from the Command-line [Batch Fike]

Am I correct that Acronis® Backup & Recovery™ 11 Workstation will back up a machine from a batch file? If so, can I use it on a standalone machine [instead of ATI Home] and NOT on any type of network -- in order to gain automated capabilities?
