Backup and Recovery 10 Workstation shows totaly weird filenumbers and space... (swhows 950 GB on a 500GB HD...)

Thread needs solution

When I create a new Backup Plan in Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 Workstation and choose "Files" as source type, then go to the next Menu to select the Files or Directories to backup it shows me really weird numbers of files and space.

I.e. it shows me that the selected folders have 274000 files and 950 GB. Thats quite impossible because the PC has only a 500GB Harddisk. Windows itself tells me (what seems to be correct) that the selected Folders have about 41 GB and 30000 Files.

When I start this Backup of (real) 41GB BaR10Workstation creates a Backupfile of more than 100GB.

I have the same problem on two PCs. Both run Windows 7 64bit.

Tried version 10.0.11105 and 10.0.11345, both show the same problem.

In this way BaR10Workstation is useseless for me.

What can I do to solve this issue.

I think I found the real problem.

I use Truecrypt 6.3a with System ecnription on both computers.

Seems Acronis BaR Workstation 10 doesn't work with files inside an encypted container...

Why that ? Acronis Trueimage Home 2009 and 2010 did it without any Problems.

What can be done to solve this ?
