Backup & Recovery 11 does not send confirmation eMails after backing up Virtual Machine(s) under ESX 4.1 after Upgrade from B&R 10. This problem concerns only backup up VMs under ESX with esx-agent. eMail confirmations are further sent by B&R 11 after Backup Up Windows machines with windows agents.

Hello,

I've the same problem on several customers.

I complete correctly the fields for the email notifications after a backup. Next i push the button to test. I receive a "test message".

But after a backup i receive nothing.

It's the same configuration. Backup of VMs with ESXi virtual appliance.

Need help.

Same issue I have 12 all tests work but no notification after backup so we have to log on to sites to confirm the backup has succeded

Out of interest are you running ABR11 Update 0 (Which is build 17311)? I noticed there was some fixes listed in this build with E-Mail notification.

ABR11 Build 17318 has also been released, hear is a copy of the release notes, it's mainly a patch version for people having issues with upgrade keys but a few other issues have also been addressed that might be worth looking into to see if they affect your install:
