Backup & Recovery 11 Workstation b17217 Can't Recover Win7 64 bit Ent

During testing of backup and recovery of Win 7 64 bit new installs I'm getting "MBR ERROR 3 BOOTMGR is missing" after restore (to same machine Dell Optiplex 320 and new drive).
"Apply Universal Restore" to fix boot doesn't show any drive to apply to.
"Install ASRM" works but doesn't help.
Haven't tried 32bit or other OSs yet.
Windows startup repair doesn't fix it.
Disk cloning works (if you ignore the no progress bar problem).
