Backup Task hangs up on 100%

Thread needs solution

Hello everyone,
we've a problem with Acronis True Image Echo Server installed on a Win2008 Server.
The Backup Tasks starts as we've planned but if the Task is at 100 percent nothing matters, and the Task doesnt end.

We've already tried to Backup a small file to Backup Media (RDX),
and also to the local disk, but also the same issue.
Please help us with our Problem. Thanks and greetings.

Thank you for posting your question, I will be happy to help.

Please make sure that you are using the latest build of the program #8398. You can find out the build number by selecting "Help" option, "About". If the build number differs from the latest one, please download and install the latest build. You can learn more on how to download it here

This build contains the most up-to-date modules that are responsible for the backup operation. If the issue remains, please obtain the below information and send me a  Private Message, I will create an account on our FTP server to let you to upload the files:

1) Download AcronisInfo file ;

Run the downloaded file. The gathered information will be put in adv_report.zip in the same folder, where the AcronisInfo was saved. Running AcronisInfo may take up to 5 minutes.

2) Please create a copy of the following folder: C:\ProgramData\Acronis

I have the same problem with Tape Backup. The backup procedure stopped at 100% (when the validate option is enabled, at 50%)
Upgraded to build #8398, but the problem persists.

Thank you for your message. I will try to assist you with this issue.

To localize the cause of this problem,  can you please perform the same backup procedure to a different backup location? Can you save the backup either locally, external hard drive or a network share?

As a workaround, you can schedule a separate validation task so that your backup runs without issues.

If the other backup locations work without any problems and it is a specific tape issue then please submit a support request with the diagnostic information mentioned at the bottom of this article.
