Bootable Media Dell PowerEdge R710 Network Drivers

Thread needs solution

I'm running Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 (build 10.0.11345) to backup a Windows Server 2008 R2 Dell PowerEdge 1950 server. It has a embedded 2 port Broadcom BCM5708C NetXtreme II GigE network card in it. The server failed and now I need to restore from the latest backup.

I created a Acronis Bootable Media ISO from a Dell PowerEdge R710 with a embedded 4 port Broadcom BCM5709C NetXtreme II GigE network card in it. When I boot from this ISO file it does not load any network drivers and I can't browse to my network share to restore from the backup file.

How can I incorporate the needed network drivers into the bootable media so it detects my network card? Or is there another solution?

Hello Phil!

Welcome to Acronis Forum, we're glad to have you with us! I completely share your concern and will be glad to assist you!

I regret to inform you that native Bootable Media of Acronis Backup and Recovery Software doesn't support Broadcom NIC, so in order to solve the issue you need to log here to your account and download the latest Bootable Media we built on another loader.

Please kindly check these articles for more details.

I would appreciate if you could kindly keep us posted regarding the case, so that we could provide you with any further assistance, if needed. Should you have any concerns or questions, please, don't hesitate to share it with us, we will find a solution.

Thank you for cooperation and patience!

I used the latest ISO and I still have a problem. When I try to install the NIC Broadcom Drivers, I keep getting an error on my R710 Dell ..."Cannot Complete install." Now that I have gone through the hassle of using the latest ISO, what do I do? I need some answers becuase I have been fumbling with this since Tuesday and today is Friday.
Thx
