B&R 10 frustration with disk management

Thread needs solution

Ok, so I'm sure there are a lot of threads where people complain about this, but the search function is pretty generic and wouldn't let me target a subforum and I wanted some v10 support/advice.

Basicaly, how much free space does Acronis need to run the friggin clean up task!? If I have less than 400GB free, Acronis will pretty much have consumed all available space and be stopped with a clean up error... from which it never gracefully recovers and I have to kill the whole proccess the old fashioned way (even trying to restart the service doesn't work). I think the failure of the cleanup also leaves crap behind further reducing my available disk space and further requiring me to delete my backups to clear it. I have a 1TB drive and I run a full weekly/inc daily, and have it set to supposedly clean up anything 2 weeks old. Yes, the full is large, around 230GB... so does that mean I have to have ~240GB free to 'clean up'?

Best practices or tips for disk management? I pretty much feel like Acronis only works reliably on a drive with %40 free space... which I think is ridiculous. I don't want to baby sit and I won't want to buy a 3TB drive to contain my 600GB worth of backups.
