BR10 - Problems with Incrementals

I finally got around to a disaster recovery plan. I am using BR10 Server and am backing up 6 servers to different locations on a NAS. I set them all up the same. Full on Sundays. Incrementals Monday thru Saturday. Retension rules delete backups older them 14 days and consolidate backups with dependencies before deleting. I implemented this on all six servers and have been watching it.

The long and short of it is that mid last week all six servers started doing fulls in the middle of the week. The sunday fulls were still there but Tuesday and Wednesday it did fulls instead of incrementals. I am not realy warm and fuzzy about this whole full/incremental senario starting with the fact that, according to Acronis, the image names are 100% meaningless and you cannot tell a thing by looking at the image names. Seems odd...

Anyway.... has anyone else had problems with BR10 Server and Full/Incremental backups?

Hi,

I haven't noticed any problems with incrementals, but I only recently set up the backup plan.

What is a but unnerving for me is this morning I was trying to restore some files from a full backup and after drilling down to the directory where the files were it hung trying to open that directory to display the files so I could select them. I let it sit for about an hour before killing the task that windows by that time said was unresponsive.

Seems to me a backup isn't any good if you can't restore....

BTW, that backup said it completed successfully and it was successfully validated.
