hi,

i would like to remove a password that I placed on an archive. Is there a way to do this? (I am trying to avoid having to restore the archive entirely, then save it all again without a password.)

What version and build of TI or B&R are you using?

Do you still have access to the original source of the image?

If you have the source available, you could create another backup. Othewise, you're probably stuck with needing to restore and back it up again to remove the password.

That being said, there were numerous problems with TI 11 not handling password protection correctly. You might try build 8,101 and see if it asks for a password.
