Can not change every Hanoi Task: Acronis Knowledge Base: Event 0x00A20025+0x00A2000E
Hello,
after the Update of B&R 10.0.457 I want to control and optimize my tasks. I can open all tasks but if I try to close the task with 'SAVE' I get the following error:

This happens to all Hanoi-Jobs and I see after open the task that the level shows 2 (must be 5) and the Roll-Back only shows the '* LOADING'.
After that I delete all jobs and create new tasks without a problem. But if I try to change something the same error comes up again!
It's not nice to create a new task if you want to change some small things ...

I do not use Hanoi, but this was happening to me and i think I have figured it out. When I upgraded to version 12457, i started having many problems:
One was when booting from the cd to do a backup, it would no longer validate backups - all validation failed.
Another problem was the I could not create or change backup plans using the management console that was located on a Windows Server. I would get the same error as you when saving the plan. And I could not run any existing backup plans - they would all fail.
I tried everything Acronis suggested on this webpage, but it did not help:

I ended up removing all the software on the server and on my workstation and reinstalling a few times, but it still would not work. I went for a couple of weeks without a backup.
Then, after installing all the software only on the workstation, including the license server, i finally got an error message that gave me a clue. It said something like 'cannot access .meta folder' even though the folder was there on the network share and had the right permissions.
To fix this, I had to delete the existing Personal Vaults with the management console, and then create new Personal Vaults. When you delete them, theres an option to save the existing files...
I just now figured this out, so I dont know if I will be able to use those old backup files after deleting the vaults - I'm hoping I will. I also dont know if ths will fix my validation problem when using the acronis boot media...

After the update to Build 12705 the problem still exist! After creating a Hanoi Task you never can change a setting because the task edit do not work!
I try this with several stores (local and a network share) but every time it is the same problem. After opening the task to change something the Hanoi Level shows only 2 (at creating the the task I choose 5 or 6) and the Roll-back period is showing the 'Waiting-Circle'! If you try to change something and save this you get the error:

Something has changed with this company. They used to have great products, and I used to trust the products. Now they dont work properly, or parts have been ripped out to be sold as a seperate products like how disk cloning was removed from this Backup and Recovery.
The new cloning program doesnt support linux, Backup and Recovery stopped running after I switched to windows 7 64bit, and the boot cd for offline backups is broken too: the progress bar and the percentage done numbers dont track properly, and it cannot verify any backup.
I just dont trust their products anymore - Ive switched to clonezilla until I can find something else, or if clonezilla proves reliable maybe I'll just stick with that.

i suggest you should login to chat support for direct remote support, they have tools to analyze your logs & registry issues or any dll issue. This issue dont have any logical issues, nor i have faced this issue ever. I suggest, since issue is critical, rather waiting for post, you should raise the issue. You can even write an email for support with screenshots or logs, you will surely get solution. However, chat or call is fastest way to get immediate support.
