Cannot remove fail-alert on dashboard from task that has already been deleted

The management console shows an alert in the dashboard about a failed recovery task.
I click resolve and the task "My Recover_1" on machine xxx is listed with it's failed state.
This task does not exist anymore on machine xxx
If I try to delete the task I get the error: Failed to delete the task.
Details says: The task with ID {.....} does not exist.
So how can I remove the alert on the dashboard that is referring to a non-existant task?
