Clean up archive function never works
Ok so I have a recurring issue that happens on all our servers regardless of location, OS, Acronis BR version etc. The "clean up archive: When there is insufficient space while backing up" function does not work on *any of our acronis installations (20+ servers, several different clients). It simply refuses to even attempt to delete the old backup files, its like the function doesnt even exist even though its configured. Im tired of having to manually delete files from the archive every few days because the backups failed for lack of space.
Anyone have any ideas why this function doesn't work?

Please could you let us know if you are performing full backups every day or how your backup’s are setup/configured... for example if you have 1x Full backup in your vault and are performing an incremental or differential backup the clean up rule will not work BUT if you have a number of full backups this option is suppose to remove the older full backups.
Also please ensure you are not using a ‘managed’ vault as I believe this rule is not support with this configuration.

P.S. There is a link to ‘When there is insufficient space....’ if you select that it will also let you know more of the conditions/rules and how this setting is suppose to work.If all seems configured ok but you are still having issues it might be best to log a support case with Acronis to get this looked into from their side, I’m sure anyone in the community (forum) will also help out if they’ve seen this issue as well but logging a support case is always best as the forum is not an official support channel.
Its actually a mixture some of the servers do a full backup everyday and some do a full backup on friday but then differential backups monday - thursday. Also we dont use managed vaults just personal vaults.
