Info: Windows XP Home, TI 2009 Home, Dell Dimension 3000

I have cloned my C drive along with it's Ubuntu 9.04 (Linux) partitions to a USB external Drive. Can I create recovery media to the same USB drive?

I am going to install a 320GB drive to replace my current 80GB drive. After replacing the 80 GB drive I want to take the complete operating system, its programs, my data, and Ubuntu that I have cloned to the USB drive and transfer it to the new 320GB drive. .

If you make changes to the cloned drive (like adding the Acronis media), it will still be that way when you clone it back to the new drive.

Are you having problems booting to the TI CD?

I would normally recommend creating a backup image of the drive and saving it to the USB drive. Then booting to the TI CD and restoring it to the new drive.
