Drives not displayed in the Backup Creation / Acronis License Server Question

Hello,

we´re using Acronis Backup & Recovery 11 on some PCs of our customers.

On Friday I wanted to create a Backup-Plan but I couldn´t choose any Drives, which should be in the Backup.

I could only choose the "computername" but no Drives.

Any solutions for that?

 

Other question:

The customer has four computer with Acronis Backup & Recovery 11 installed on them.

The one with the Acronis License Server on it needs to be completly reinstalled (Windows etc.).

The Customer already did that. Can I just install the License Server on another computer? Or are there bigger Problems now?

Hello Vito,

Thank you for your posting! I would suggest checking the machine in question on possible errors with chkdsk and re-install the Agent for Windows. Please also check Windows Event logs for some Disk or System errors. 

Yes, you could safely install License Server on another machine, just make sure the new IP-address is specified in AMS settings.
