I have installed B&R on a linux server ( Centos 5.4, 64bit ) and when I try to back up a path on it ( file mode ) , I get the following error. the path I am backing up is a fiber channel LUN mounted to the directory. I don't understand why this error would happen as I'm not trying to backup a whole hdd, just some files on it. I have tried with snapapi on/off and get same error :

Unfortunately at the moment it is hard to say what exactly went wrong, so we will need to take a closer look at the issue. Could you please kindly obtain the following? 

  1. Linux System Report
  2. Log files from folder \var\lib\Acronis
  3. Acronis Info from the Machine where you have Management Console installed

After that please kindly submit a support request with this information attached, and let me know its number - I'd like to make sure that it is handled in a proper way.

thanks. case number is 00646103.

I couldn't attach the system info file from the management server, I think it was too large. I was getting a timeout screen in my browser, so I've just attached the linux logs.

Thank you for your reply and for specifying the case number! I took an ownership of it and will do my best to guide it to its complete resolution.

Unfortunately for successful investigation we will need Acronis Info from the Management Server as well, and I would appreciate if you could kindly upload it to the FTP account I created for you (link sent via e-mail).
