Has anyone noticed this problem with BR10 and restore from CD?

Thread needs solution

I thought it was just a random occurrence at first, but as it has now happened several times, it must be a bug.

When using Build 11345 with UR to restore images, and going back to change something in the restore options during the restore selection, the restore pauses "for unknown reason" (normally after the first volume is restored) and then fails.

looking at the actual state of the disks when this happens, sure enough the first volume has been created and restored, and any subsequent volumes/partitions on the physical disk(s) haven't

If i go through the options sequentially, the issue goes away.
I have been able to recreate this by:
1. using the disk management to delete partitions, then clicking the back arrow to start a restore process.
Shutting down and rebooting fixes this.

2. changing the selected boot records i want to restore after selecting any volumes (some of my backups have 5 volumes).
Shutting down and selectively going through the options fixes this. Sometimes just starting the restore from scratch also fixes this.

Restoring and choosing the options sequentially gives me a bootable restore.

What gives? Has anyone else seen this behaviour?

Hello Darryl,

Thank you for posting your question, I will be happy to help.
Could you please clarify the type of media you use? If you use Acronis Bootable Media, please try
ISOLINUX Bootable Media, and vice versa. This will help to localize the issue.
One more thing. We expect Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 Update 2 very soon. I propose to wait for the new build release and try to reproduce the issue. If the issue is reproduced using the new build, we will troubleshoot it.
We are looking forward to hearing back from you at your earliest convenience. If the provided information is not clear or if you have any other question do not hesitate to post them and we will be glad to answer.

Thank you.
