Ihr System ist nicht vollständig geschützt... Your system is not completely safe...

Thread needs solution

Winfried

I'm using the newest version of Acronis True Image Home 2010.
On the start page will be shown the note (following is certain not the correct note, because I only got the german version of the program):

"You system is not completely safe. Please do following: Backup your system"

I already have done a full system backup for many times, but the mentioned note still is shown.
This is very annoying situation, because I got the feeling, that my system is not safe and got no complete backup. This situation was not the case with the later version 2009.

Best regards,

Winfried

The "problem" should be fixed, but it may never work correctly. If you have backups created and you've validated them successfully, I'd just ignore the message.

Some users have posted that TI needs to have the backup available on an internal drive so it can see it and report the system as backed up.

Hello all,

Thank you for using [[http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/products/trueimage/ | Acronis True Image]]

Winfried,

MudCrab is correct, if the archives are located on an external hard drive, you are unable to get rid of the warning after the external HD disconnection. Our developers are working to fix the issue.

If the archives are located on an internal hard drive, please validate the archive and check its integrity. Also please go to the Recovery Wizard and see if the archive is present in Data recovery and backup management window.  If not, please use the Browse for backup button to update the metadata information database and re-launch the program.

Thank you.
