So i decided to uninstall the solution, but the license server don't want to uninstall and said it was corrupted

Now i would like to re install, but the setup failed to launch: The previous version of ...is installed...please uninstall...

I am blocked now, i can't do nothing, can't install, and can't uninstall

Hello sébastien vérité,

Thank you for posting this issue. I will do my best to assist you.

I am happy that you resolved the uninstall issue with the Acronis Backup and Recovery 10 clean-up utility. If you decide to install the program and if the installation fails again, please generate a Msi log and send me a PM with it. I will then be able to analyze it, and let you know why the installation failed.

Please let me know if you have additional questions.

Thank you.

I have owned Acronis for a couple of years & find that True Image works fine when booted from a CD, but under Windows (I have three different but networked PCs all running XP) there are problems. Ranging from not actually doing what it is supposed to to intermittently crashing the system(s).
However, I just replaced one PC and decided to load it up again to see if I could automate backups overnight. No go. So decided to uninstall (again).
Following advice from this forum, this time I tried the Acronis 'clean-up' utility on my main system :- now the PC will not boot at all! Good grief!
This really is rubbish software.

Hello Robin,

Welcome to the forum and thank you for your post. I will definitely help you with this issue.

Could you provide me with more information about the unbootable OS, which error messages are you getting and when exactly?

Have you tried booting in Safe mode or Last good known configuration?

If you are getting a constant reboot loop please disable it and let us know the BSOD error.

Which Acronis software you had installed and which clean up utility did you use?

Let me know you have any other questions please.

Thank you.
