Job unfound, but backup files were created, how ???

Thread needs solution

Hi everybody,

I'm newbie and I use Acronis since 3 weeks. The Acronis system is installed by the previous engineer and there is no documentation about the configuration. I've solve and learn somethings myself. That's ok. But right now, I'm really lost.

I've a Acronis server where the Acronis admin interface (BR 10) is installed. There is a few job centralized and some of them are local. On the Acronis server, I have a backup USB disk. On this disk, I've some .tib files. Tib files are created everyday. These files are useful. But the problem, there is no defined job on the BR 10 interface about this job, no centralized and no local. I've checked with BR 10 with local machine management connection, remote machine management connection and server management connection. No job about these .tib files generation.

An ideal ?
Thanks for your help.

admin interface (BR 10) is installed.

It's called management console. And BR 10 is a name of the whole product. http://www.acronis.com/download/docs/abr10as/userguide

remote machine management connection

To what machine? If to the same, or localhost, it has the same effect as 'manage local machine' button.
Are there any policies deployed to the machine? (if yes, i'd rather revoke them before proceeding with 'task zap' step.
...And only when you're sure, use http://kb.acronis.com/content/1859

As for configuration, once you found the management server (where "Acronis Management Server" service is running), determine the machines added into it, and then it must be straightforward.

Hi,

Good for the user guide in English, it will be easier for the next question and use the same word. Because the BR10 on my server is in French version and my translation was so far.

About the problem with the invisible jobs, it is solved with the "task zap" command.

Thanks a lot.
