New Build 17440 Problems
If master server is upgraded, older client mail notifaction will report FAILED with the URI SLICE errors even though backup completes with no problem same as other build
Doing any type of upgrade it has to be done in phases , ie update master server wait a week update the clients but becasue of issues we are going to have a lot of errors until everything is updated
Think that they will make it nice and clear post something have some tye of doc
All we ever hear is we are sorry update to latest build
As you can see from the below ticket was created with Aconris when I did the other upgrade
17318 to 17437, as you can see they have no clue no mention that there was going to be a problem and even better the new build has the same exact issue

17437 clients work well against 17438 ASN/AMS
17437->17438 upgrades don't work too well (30% failure rate, leaving acronis defunct, needs uninstall, abr_cleanup, reinstall).
Yes, support is helpless. Even the "expert" team has to relay simple detail questions (like: What does this error mean) to development - which takes weeks at times. This is tiring and stretches support cases to multi-months, multi-release endeavours. I don't blame them for the dozens of showstopper-bugs that come up with every odd build - but the response times are abysmal. Compared to the competition (1 hour for first feedback, which is usually asking for logs, resolution within the next day), acronis has lots of homework to do (leaving my ASN-managed vault broken beyond repair for 3+ months...)
Fortunately, later builds (starting from update 0.5 i think) can actually do backups - that's pretty good for a backup software :)
