Hello,

we have old Windows 2000 machines with some important programs installed. The source code for the programs is lost, but since we need them, we would like to migrate the whole OS (with the installed programs) to Windows 7.
It there a possibility to do this with Universal Restore?

No. Universal Restore can't separate installed programs from OS. It can help if you decide to convert the old physical machines with Win 2000 and installed programs to virtual machines (Converting to virtual machine doesn't require UR as a separate license, but the technology of supplying the necessary drivers is the same)
