Universal restore not showing up

I just installed Acronis B&R V 10, and I got a license for Universal Restore. If I check the licenses, I have a license listed for both.

However, when I go to create a boot media, it says there is no license for Universal Restore.

Am I doing something wrong?

Thank you for your post and welcome to our forum. I will definitely help you with this issue.

Please check a few things to make sure that Acronis Universal Restore got installed on your machine without issues:

1. Windows Add/Remove programs, there should be an AUR entry.

2. Please take a look at steps 5 and 8 in this KB article. When you create your bootable media, are these options available?

If AUR is present in add/remove programs but the options in step #2 are not available you will need to repair ABR10 media builder. Please launch the installation package and select to repair the media builder component.

In case this issue is still there please contact our Support team directly so that we can assist you through a remote session.

As a workaround you can always download the bootable media from your Acronis web-account. Please check this article for additional information.

I have tried the repair, and it didn't work.

I read the other links in your response, so I will try remove everything and using the cleanup utility and starting over.

One question: I am doing this on the license server machine. Should I revoke the license for other servers before uninstalling?

It worked! I used the cleanup utility and started fresh, and it now says UR is installed.
