Upgrading from a previous version - BSOD on client when installing Windows Agent

I have followed the instructions regarding upgrading acronis backup and recovery 10. These instructions worked fine for the management console and licencing console. It started to fail when remotely upgrading the windows agents on the clients from the updated management console.

On our reception pc, upon a reboot I had a BSOD, Arconis had failed when installing the agent. When starting it up in safemode it worked so I looked at the services and using msconfig I deselected the Acronis services. When booting the PC as normal there was no BSOD. It was something to do with the remote install process from the management console.

I have now manually removed the acronis components from our client PC's using the following process:-

1) Log on as local admin/domain admin
1) Stop Acronis services
2) Remove via add/remove
3) Run Acronis Cleanup
4) Install the MSI files for the components required.

If anyone has any installation issue this above process should help if you don't have alot of PC's!
