W7 and Serial Numbers

I would like to use Acronis workstation to roll out laptops and desktops, so I need to build a W7 base image, acronis it and then roll out the other similar systems. How do I handle not having a non-VLA serial number in the image when I restore? Can I change the W7 serial number after I restore on to the next system? I assume that I should build the system pre-activation. I used Acronis for years but only with XP and we have a VLA serial number, so activation was not required and all the systems used the same serial number.

Any insights would be great...I plan on getting Acronis Workstation version 11

I think I found the answer, I see W7 has a change activation code feature, so we can resore an image then just change the activation code so we do not have dupes....
