Wake on LAN and Agent installation

Thread needs solution

Hi all

I have two different problems with Acronis Backup & Recovery 10.

1. I want to install the Acronis Agent to several clients in our network. Clients which were installed with our old image, the Acronis Agent can be installed. Clients which were installed with our new image, the agent can not be installed. The message: "Installation fehlgeschlagen" (Installation failed).
There are no big differences between the new and the old images. The firewall is disabled and remoteaccess is allowed. Unfortunately there is no logfile or a longer message what exactely happened.

2. I want to use wake on lan. The server where the wol proxy is installed is defined in the options of the AMS. The clients are registered. But the option for enable wake on lan in the backup planning of the client it not visible. What can be the reason?

1. There are several reasons for this issue, so in order to solve it we need to localise the cause. Please gather MSI log alongside with Windows System Information - it will help us to localise the issue and find an appropriate solution for it.

2. Again, there can be several causes for the issue (known and reproduced or new that we're not aware of), so the situation requires investigation as well. Please follow these instructions, and should the issue remain provide us with the information requested in that article.
