Warning: Cannot find disk with number ".
Hi All,
I am hoping someone can help me with a small problem please.
I work for Alcoa as the control system administrator. We use Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 to take disk images of the control system machines on a dedicated control domain. I am using a backup policy to manage 59 machines which are a mix of Dell R710 servers and Dell T5500 work stations. The server OS is Windows 2008 and the work station OS is Windows 7.
I have applied the same policy to all machines. The policy is set to backup [Disk 1]. There are 2 partitions on the disk. A 90MB FAT16 OEM Partition and a 135.8 GB NTFS System partition (C:). There is also 236MB of unallocated space. The backup images are working and the NTFS partition in the image is C: and the FAT16 partition is D: but I am getting a warning massage in the log which I have pasted below. Please note I have removed the fully qualified machine names and owner username from the extract.
I was previously using [All Volumes] as what to backup but this was also getting volumes on Disk 2 of the servers which we don't need. I was not getting the warning when [All Volumes] was used.
I am guessing this may be caused by the unallocated space but not sure. Hopefully I have posted enough info. Does anyone know what could be causing this warning?
