Which File To Select For Incremental Backup
Sorry if this has been answered so many times before... I currently have a full backup and an incremental backup (sequence 1 and 2).
1. If I manually do another incremental backup, which folder do I select to add the new incremental backup to, the original full backup or the last incremental?
2. If I want to schedule automatic daily incremental backups, do I select the original full backup or the last incremental backup?
Thanks.

Sorry it's still confusing...
Here are my backed up files:
G:/5150 1013.tib
G:/5150 10132.tib
G:/5150 10133.tib
If I am manually doing an additional incremental backup, which Backup Archive Location do I select - the original full backup (1013.tib), or the last incremental (10133.tib), or does it matter?
Thx.

I always just click on the last incremental that I did (10133.tib in your case) and run the backup, making sure that the backup type is set to incremental. I think that if you click on the full backup, then a new incremental will be created relative to just the full backup rather than also including the other incremental backups which you have already done.

Rainer,
As I stated in my posting above. I am not understanding why you must select one or the other in order to make a backup. You should already have a task created for the backups which are already created.
If you open TrueImage and select the task option, you should find a listing of all the tasks which you created. One of those tasks is the one which created the backups. You should be able to select and right click on the Task and select the start option which will initiate another backup based on the options you had created when you first created the task some time ago.
Most likely, the next number will be G:/5150 10134.tib
The information you provided appears to show that your backup name was
G:/5150 1013.tib which was the base backup. (think of this as G:/5150 10131.tib since it was the first backup
G:/5150 10132.tib is the second backup (first incremental)
G:/5150 10133.tib is the third backup (2nd incremental)
G:/5150 10134.tib will be the next backup which will be an incremental. Should the next backup turn out to be another full backup, then the backup name/number will change.
