which universal restore software should I buy?

Thread needs solution

I currently have Acronis True Image 9.1 Workstation + Acronis True Image 9.1 Workstation Universal Restore which need to be updated as I'm about to dissimilar hardware in a Windows 7 64-bit environment.

My question is should I go for Acronis® Backup & Recovery™ 10 Advanced Workstation which is currently at £65.00 per license and includes a free Acronis Universal Restore and a free upgrade to Acronis® Backup & Recovery™ 11 when it is available?
Or should I go for Acronis® True Image™ Home 2011 which is currently discounted to £39.95
including "Plus Pack add-on (which includes universal restore), which comes free with every copy"?Is this cheaper ATI Home 2011 cost saving a false economy when it comes to functionality and success rate between the two?
I'm looking for the best and easiest universal restore functionality, preferably without the need to create a winPE environment on the target PC as I find this troublesome on my current ATI 9.1 workstation software universal restore functionality.
what are your experiences with both versions universal restore functionality?
Any thoughts much appreciated

Acronis® Backup & Recovery™ 10 Advanced Workstation which is currently at £65.00 per license

On the acronis.co.uk it's already listed at £50 with UR, and in your case (already have 9.1. workstation + UR) upgrade to ABR10 will cost you £33.61 (and a separate upgrade for UR from 9.1 to 10 for about £10 )

UR functionality is supposed to be the same, but there were reports on this forum when TI 2011 + Plus Pack didn't work, but a borrowed CD with ABR 10 with UR did. May be there are someone for whom it didn't work other way round.

For a single UR operation the _really_ cheapest solution would be Snap Deploy with Universal Deploy (£14) but it requires a separate live computer that will hold license server and other components during the process, because standalone deployment (a bootable CD that requires nothing else) doesn't have a UR functionality) and thus I wouldn't recommend it for this purpose.

thank you dev-anon, I can't find Acronis backup and recovery 10 advanced workstation at £50, don't suppose you have the URL as I'm currently in a live chat session with a presales support member and they too are finding it difficult to find that particular URL?

Any help much appreciated and I will report back so others can go down this route if necessary.

Sorry, it was standalone workstation for £50 ( http://www.acronis.co.uk/backup-recovery/workstation/ ) , not an Advanced one. If you are going to use it on a single computer and not use any of its centralized/remote andministration and storage features, are there reason to choose Advanced ? ( unless there is no upgrade path to Standalone version from your existing 9.1 )
